Every sport has it's scuffles between athletes, but there are those times when the scuffles hit home. The recent fight at practice before Game 1 of the NBA playoffs between Evan Turner and Lance Stephenson has brought to my attention a trend. Teammates fight sometimes.

Let's take a look at the top 15 teammate fights you probably didn't know about.

Okay, so this fight didn't actually happen, but after a game in which Rex Ryan said he wish he would have benched the quarterback, Sanchez fired back, saying he wanted to fight his coach.

While this may have just been a joke, that would have been one epic fight.

Brian Cushing and Antonio Smith actually went at it during a game on the field. A sack was made by the Texans, but on the other side of the field, Smith and Cushing were locked in a heated exchange that eventually led to Smith ripping Cushing's helmet off.

You surely know about this one by now, but as of a couple days ago, no one had any idea that Stephenson and Evan Turner fought during practice prior to Game 1 against the Atlanta Hawks. Not very good for team morale on an already dysfunctional team.

12. Michael Jordan vs Steve Kerr

Not many people know that Steve Kerr and Michael Jordan got into an altercation in practice. In fact, Kerr wanted to make sure not everyone on the team praised Jordan as a god and rather treated him like everyone else.

Kerr said: "I knew I had two choices. Either let it go and be obedient to Michael forever, or fight and probably get my ass kicked. I picked a real winner for my adult fighting debut."

11. Manny Ramirez vs Kevin Youkilis

Matthew Barnaby and Martin LaPointe got into a scuffle during practice in 2006 and, well, you know how hockey fights go. This one was pretty good.

Javaris Crittenton and Gilbert Arenas actually pulled firearms on each other in the Washington Wizards locker room, but it got Arenas into some hot water. The two had an ongoing issue with each other and it boiled over to guns in each other's face.

Steve Smith matched up against Ken Lucas in a receiving drill at practice in 2008 when the two got into a disagreement, started throwing punches and the rest was history. Yeah, Steve Smith is intense.

Dioner Navarro and Matt Garza were a solid pitcher/catcher combo, but when the two disagreed on something in the dugout, things got ugly. The two had to be restrained by teammates.

O.J. Mayo and Tony Allen had a bit of a scuffle over a debt that one didn't pay. The two fought in the locker room over a gambling debt and realized how stupid that really was since they both made millions.

3. Jeff Kent vs Barry Bonds

Jeff Kent didn't take any crap from Barry Bonds and it showed. Kind of like the Jordan-Kerr fight, Kent didn't like Barry's attitude and confronted him in the dugout during a game after a shoving match on the field.

2. Shaquille O'Neal vs Scott Skiles

Shaquille O'Neal and Scott Skiles are two completely different sized individual. O'Neal is a behemoth while Skiles was a slim guard who had no business throwing a punch at O'Neal in practice during a scuffle, but he had no fear -- and he did just that. It didn't end well for Skiles as he was quickly put into a headlock.

Riley Cooper had a racist outburst at a country concert over the summer of 2013 and it caused a bit of tension with teammates. Cary Williams doesn't take anything from anyone and the fiery defensive back took Cooper to the ground during a practice drill and began taking out some anger on the controversial wide out.
