Ahh, Friday. The day that turns into the evening that’s made for celebrating. On Friday, you get to wind down from a hectic week and kick your weekend off right. That kind of night calls for a special kind of cocktail. So we’ve compiled a list of drinks that are worthy of Friday.
Make sure you have enough energy for a long evening of fun. Next time you need a little boost, try a drink with some energy in it – like Fridays’ Diddy Up, made with Cîroc vodka, ruby red grapefruit, Red Bull®, and fresh-squeezed lime.
Sometimes a Friday calls for something so simple, so clean, so…strong. So order your next premium scotch, bourbon, or tequila neat – and be sure to savor the pure flavor of the spirit by sipping it leisurely.
A drink that requires tools and a little elbow grease to make is worth the wait. Muddling makes any drink fresher and tastier, and the technique is used in more than the mojito. Handcrafted cocktails use a number of fresh ingredients: herbs, ginger, oranges, and cucumbers, to name a few.
The care with which bartenders crafted drinks in the 1930s, when bartending was a skill more than a job that got you through college, is back in a big way. Today they’re called mixologists, and if you want a perfect end-of-the-week-cap, find one this Friday and taste what a cocktail should taste like.
Why save the bubbly for New Year’s Eve? Make any Friday night an occasion with a drink made with Champagne, Prosecco, or sparkling wine. Try a French 75, Death in the Afternoon, Kir Royale, or classic Champagne cocktail and toast to the new weekend.
You know a cocktail is made with care when it’s made right before your eyes. So get treated like a VIP and have your drink shaken tableside. Try out the experience with Fridays’ line of shaker cocktails, like the Double Berry Mojito Shaker.
Want to kick your Friday up a notch? It’s easy with a drink that’s spiked – which means it’s fine on its own but better with alcohol. An example: Fridays Spiked Lemonade, made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lemon and lime juice, agave nectar, and Fever-Tree Ginger Beer.
Marshmallows, whipped cream, gummy bears, lollipops, and even peanut butter cups have been spotted in creative sweet cocktails. Let yourself indulge in a delicious candy-and-alcohol concoction before heading to the gym on Saturday. Try the Fridays Pink Punk Cosmo with a secret ingredient: cotton candy.
Fresh fruit, herbs, and juice mixers give a cocktail a splash of flavor that just can’t be matched. Give your weekend the fresh start it deserves with a drink made with real live ingredients. Try the Fridays Peach Honey Smash – made with Jack Daniel’s® Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Honey, lemon juice, lime juice, pure cane sugar, fresh mint, and peaches.
This Friday, drink like you mean it with a handcrafted cocktail. It just so happens that you can find one at your local Fridays. Just ask your bartender, and we’re sure they’ll be happy to suggest one.
