Week 11 Fantasy Football: 5 Bold IDP Predictions

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

The fantasy football season is getting down to crunch time, even in IDP formats. To help those of you that actually drafted defensive players, here are my five bold predictions IDP predictions for Week 11 of the fantasy season.

1. DE Jared Allen Will Get A Sack

Allen has been in somewhat of a slump lately, as he has only recorded four tackles and a half sack in his last three contests. However, it is only a matter of a time until the five-time Pro Bowler has another dominant performance. Expect Allen to get his hands on QB Russell Wilson at least once this Sunday.

2. CB Tyrann Mathieu Will Have A Big Game

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently the worst team in football. It is mostly because of their lackluster offense, as the team is currently 21st running the ball and 31st passing the ball. Jacksonville faces the Arizona Cardinals this weekend in a matchup that just screams fantasy potential. Jackosnville, like most teams, will avoid throwing towards CB Patrick Peterson, so Mathieu will get plenty of action this Sunday. He should have no problem racking up at least six tackles and potentially get a turnover in Week 11.

3. LB London Fletcher Will Record 10 Tackles

Washington will face the run-heavy Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. RB LeSean McCoy is leading the league in rushing attempts (193) and yards (932), so Fletcher should get plenty of chances to rack up tackles. I fully expect Fletcher to finish with at least 10 hits in Week 11.

4. CB Darrelle Revis Will Have An Interception

Revis got his hands on one last weekend, which was his first pick since September. He fortunately faces the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, and considering that QB Matt Ryan has thrown seven interceptions over his last three games alone, just shows that the quarterback has been forcing a lot of passes. WR Roddy White is healthy and the team will be throwing his way quite often without WR Julio Jones. Revis will be tested all game and he should be able to finish the game with at least one pick.

5. LB Vontaze Burfict Will Finish With 10 Tackles

Burfict is currently leading the entire league with 103 tackles. The second-year linebacker has led the Cincy defense this season and should shine this weekend against a Cleveland Browns offense that is running the ball 22.2 times per game. Burfict has finished with double-digit tackles in six of his ten contests and should have another big game against the Brownies.
