Fantasy Football Playoffs: Peyton Manning Set To Have Big Divisional Round

Manning

Two years ago, the Denver Broncos made the playoffs with a young, exciting quarterback named Tim Tebow. Tebow even won a playoff game for them at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. His postseason then ended quickly the next weekend due to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Tebow must not have impressed John Elway and the rest of the Broncos’ organization, because that same offseason, the Broncos signed Hall of Fame free agent quarterback Peyton Manning.

It was expected that Manning would come in and instantly the Broncos would become one of the best teams in the NFL and compete to win many Super Bowls. The Broncos were on their way to do this last season, but the Baltimore Ravens ended that dream quickly.

This season, the Broncos are again the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs and are looking to try to advance to the AFC Championship.

If you are a fantasy football player, the Divisional Round of the fantasy football games is a very important one. This is a week when you try to break away from the pack and establish yourself as one of the teams to win it all.

If you play in a fantasy game that did not see one of your selected quarterbacks advance to the second round, then picking Manning would be a very wise choice this weekend.

I know many people are concerned about Manning’s production in the playoffs as well as in the cold. In many years past, we have seen that Manning just does not play well in the cold, and he will also be taking on a San Diego Chargers team that has given him a hard time this season.

Don’t worry about Manning this week. This guy is a student of the game and will be very prepared coming into this game. Manning is fully aware of what is said about him in the playoffs. He will be fully prepared for this game and I expect him to throw for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns in this game. The Chargers will be a tough team to play, however, if you need Manning this week, play him with confidence. You will be glad you did, I promise!
