Cruz missed two games in 2013, but he likely wasn’t about to push it to play for a football team in dead last. He should play in all 16 games in 2014.

Receptions – 87

The departure of WR Hakeem Nicks will keep Cruz active on Sundays. I expect him to set a career-high in receptions this season, even if it is only by a few.

Receiving Yards – 1,183

Cruz will see plenty of balls in 2014 and will be one of many wideouts to go over 1,000 yards. Don’t expect him to match his 1,500 yards from 2011, but he will have another strong campaign.

Yards Per Catch - 13.6

Ever since averaging. 18.7 yards per reception in his rookie season, Cruz has seen a drastic decrease in his YPC. He has become more active on short yardage routes and will once again average under 15 yards per catch.

Touchdowns – 9

Cruz caught just four touchdowns last season, which was a major letdown after hauling in 19 through his first two seasons. New York’s offense will be much better this season, which will only give Cruz more chances to haul in touchdowns.
