For any fantasy baseball team, starting the right players is unsurprisingly the key to success. This is especially true in the immensely popular daily leagues, where a single player can mean the difference between a big payday and crushing disappointment. Based on matchups and talent, the following players could all be in for an outstanding day on Sept. 5 and deserve your utmost consideration.

This sophomore continues to shine atop the Marlins order as he's now posted a tremendous .406 average, with 13 runs scored, over his last 15 games. His chances of keeping it up are high as he'll face starter Aaron Harang on Friday. Harang has been knocked around to the tune of a 5.82 ERA his past four outings, and left-handers have posted a lofty .310 average against him on the season.

With a .341 average and three HRs over his past 11 contests, Seager looks primed to finish the 2014 season with a bang. The left-hander has a nice matchup to take advantage of on Friday, and you would be wise to do the same. The M's will face Texas Rangers starter Scott Baker, and though he has pitched well in his past two starts, his ERA still sits at an atrocious 5.23 on the season.

Navarro struggled through most of August but has cranked his bat up of late with three HRs, and an outstanding .433 average, over his last 30 at bats. He'll look to keep the momentum going on Friday vs. Clay Buchholz. Buchholz is coming off a surprisingly dominant complete game shutout in his last outing, but in his previous eight starts he had posted a horrid 6.34 ERA.

The once mighty Pujols is struggling at the dish right now, but I think I may have found the perfect medicine to get his bat going again. That medication comes by the name of Rickey Nolasco, and the Minnesota Twins starter has been bashed to the tune of a putrid 7.07 ERA over his past five outings. Pujols has also thoroughly dominated Nolasco in his career as he owns a ridiculous .545 average, with eight extra-base hits, over 22 career at bats.

Strasburg has had his fair share of hiccups this year, but one constant has been his domination of the Philadelphia Phillies. In four starts against Philly he's posted a dazzling 1.43 ERA, plus has fanned a whopping 35 batters over those 25.2 innings of work. The Phillies' offense has been rather productive of late, but Strasburg is likely to cool those bats off on Friday.
