One thing every fantasy football owner should know is that they should aways read about their players before they set their lineups. If you have a player who is questionable, you need to find as much information as you can on him before it's too late. Read, read, read. It can only benefit you.

Sometimes, the most fun thing about fantasy football is the risks owners take that go with it. There are a ton of high-risk, high-reward type of players. If you simply have a feeling, start players even if it's out of the ordinary. Have fun with it too. Who knows? You could have a superstar performance from a risky guy in the week you play him.

This gets to be a problem every year, especially in Week 1. Although you might have Colin Kaepernick going up against the Dallas Cowboys, it's smarter to start a guy you invested heavily in like Aaron Rodgers, even if he is playing the Seattle Seahawks. The main point here is to play the guys you drafted to be your starters, regardless of their matchup.

You're going to lose. Trust me. It just happens. It's almost impossible for teams to go undefeated in fantasy football. By Tuesday morning, you could very well be 0-1, but that does not mean you have to sell the farm. Smart owners in your league will be looking for the people who will be trading their guys away. These trades always make the rich get richer. Don't be vulnerable, no matter how hard it is to lose.
