Fantasy Football Week 3 Start or Sit: Steve Smith to Continue Success

Steve Smith is a man on a mission to prove that age means nothing these days. The 14-year NFL veteran is starting off this season as one of his best yet on his new team in the Baltimore Ravens. With a chip on his shoulder to prove his doubters wrong, Smith continues to torch the opposition with “no quit” in his vocabulary.

Facing a Cleveland Browns team still looking for an identity in Week 3 action, Smith should continue his success as the premiere target for quarterback Joe Flacco. The Browns won’t have any answers for Smith, who should have a huge game against a suspect defensive secondary.

Considering last week he ended his efforts with six catches for 71 yards, Smith is playing smarter, not harder. He helped his Ravens get more yards down the field since he drew three penalties against the Pittsburgh Steelers, resulting in an extra 45 yards on scoring drives.

Even at the age of 35, make sure to start Smith on your fantasy football team since he will only continue to improve week in, week out; especially in Week 3 since he’s projected to have another big game.

Smith is playing angry and with a purpose to prove that his old team in the Carolina Panthers made a huge mistake releasing him because of his age.
