The 2-1 Seattle Seahawks are fresh off a bye week as they hit the road to face the 1-3 Washington RedskinsSeattle wide receiver Percy Harvin has been a difficult player to defend this year, and his dynamic offensive ability will give him a chance to have a strong performance against Washington.

Through three games so far this season, Harvin has been a threat both through the air and on the ground. He has 15 receptions for 106 yards and has six carries for 86 yards on the ground. Though his numbers aren’t staggering, he is a threat given that he can be a running option — and typically they’ll run him around the edge on reverse-type plays, which can be huge yard gainers. The Seahawks have a lot of solid offensive weapons and Harvin’s ability to complement those other players has worked well for them.

Harvin will be going up against a Redskins defense that has been pretty solid both against the run and pass this year. They’re giving up only 86 yards a game on the ground, which is good enough for eighth best in the NFLand they’ve given up just under 240 yards a game through the air. However, Washington is coming off a Week 4 game against the New York Giants in which their defense got trampled. New York put up 45 points and 449 yards of total offense, and they’ll need a huge bounce-back week if they want to contain Seattle’s offense.

This matchup could provide Harvin a good chance to put up some big numbers. As Seattle’s leader in receptions, I can see him hauling in at least three catches. Although he wasn’t given any carries in Week 3, I think he’ll get at least a couple chances to run the ball.

Final prediction: 55 receiving yards, 33 rushing yards, zero touchdowns, eight total fantasy points
