Odell Beckham Jr. is poised to springboard his career starting Week 7.

With Victor Cruz suffering a gruesome injury in a shutout loss against thePhiladelphia Eagles, Beckham, Jr. is now a starting wide receiver. His counterpart, Reuben Randle, has been doing fantastically this year even with Cruz in. Beckham, Jr. also caught his first touchdown pass last week, furthering his confidence heading into the future.

Eli Manning has also been hot this season, shushing his harsh critics for holding the Manning name, but not performing. Manning is just on the cusp of being a top 10 fantasy football quarterback—he holds the 13th spot—and that’s among a group of quarterbacks with freakish games like Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco. Although he had no touchdowns last week against the Eagles, Manning is a fine fantasy quarterback and he’ll distribute the ball to Beckham Jr.

The New York Giants are slotted to play the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7. The Cowboys are very good against the pass, but big plays can hurt them, and Beckham, Jr. is the guy to make those kind of plays. Reuben Randle is the go-to receiver right now, but Cruz will be replaced by Beckham, Jr. in the slot, which should give him plenty of targets. He’s also a freak athlete, which he displayed during his tenure at LSU.

He’s a deep pickup and a definite sleeper, and if you can get him, things will look bright for your fantasy team now and in the future.
