Arian Foster Should Not Be In Your Week 8 FanDuel Lineup

The Houston Texans travel to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and will look to return to .500 after three straight losses have seen them fall out of the picture for the NFL Playoffs. The Titans are struggling offensively and are starting a rookie quarterback, so there should be many opportunities for the Texans’ offense to shine.

However, for those of you looking for a boost to your FanDuel team, your best bet is to stay with the Houston defense and stay away from the Texans’ offense, including star running back Arian Foster.

It sounds crazy that one of the leading rushers in the NFL is a no-go against one of the most porous run defenses in the NFL, but the Texans have shown tendencies to under-perform against weaker opposition in the past, which could happen again against the Titans.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is one of the most interception-prone quarterbacks in the history of the NFL, and the Titans’ defense is no pushover. Their stats have suffered due to the poor play of the offense, but their linebackers and pass rushers are extremely talented.

Foster will be forced to carry the ball a lot, and he has shown a tendency to fumble the ball throughout his career. Foster should be a lock for at least 10 points, but you can find a much better option for a lot cheaper with so many favorable match ups across the board. Stay away from the Texans running-back or you could be looking at zeroes when it’s time to collect.
