Saturday is going to be a jam-packed day of college football, so you have to get in on the action. With an overload of marquee matchups, touchdowns will surely be flying all over the board. Here are the top players to insert into your FanDuel lineup for the early games.

QB - Trevor Knight $8,500

Stud quarterback at home, favored by six and an over/under of 73? Yeah, I’ll have that. Trevor Knight absolutely went off last week against Iowa State to the tune of 376 total yards and six touchdowns. Granted, Baylor is not Iowa State, but they still make any game a track meet just by showing up. Knight has had some dud games this year, but Saturday won’t be one of them.

RB - Cameron Artis-Payne $7,300

CAP has reached the 100-yard mark in six of his eight games thus far. With a struggling Texas A&M coming to town, he should run all over this defense. The ,300 price here is an early Christmas gift for FanDuel players in early November.

RB - Leon Allen $6,900

Western Kentucky’s offense was absolutely rolling all season, until last week. Prior to their 59-10 loss against Louisiana Tech, the Hilltoppers were averaging 45.5 PPG. Leon Allen has been quite successful this year (792 yards, seven TDs) despite bad two bad performances, and he should find paydirt on Saturday with the over/under on the game being listed at 70.5.

WR - Antonio Vaughan $6,700

This is a guy few people know about, and that’s the way I like it. In eight games this season, Antonio Vaughan has totaled 42 catches for 743 yards and 10 touchdowns; two of those games were 30+ point games in the standard FanDuel scoring format. On the flip side, he had a stretch of two miserable games in a row where he had a combined four catches for 48 yards, but we’re all human, right? The upside heavily outweighs anything else here.

WR - DeAndre Smelter $5,900

Georgia Tech has more of a run offense, but DeAndre Smelter is the top receiver on the team. He’s put up some big numbers in most of his games this year -- four of his six have gone for 18+ points. Going against NC State should make that five out of seven.

WR - Jordan Villamin $5,400

The Beavers have had a rough go of it this season, but recently they have discovered a genuine surprise in this 6-foot-4 freshman. In the last three weeks, Jordan Villamin has gone off for 18 catches, 268 yards and three touchdowns. This week they go against a porous Washington State defense where he is sure to see plenty of targets.

TE - E.J. Bibbs $4,300

E.J. Bibbs has only been slowed down by three teams this season -- Kansas State, Baylor and Oklahoma. On Saturday they face Kansas, who is certainly nowhere near the caliber of those three previously mentioned teams. In Iowa State’s other four games (Iowa, Oklahoma State, Toledo and Texas), Bibbs has averaged just over 17 PPG. Spend the extra funds and get yourself one of the best playmakers in all of college football.
