Building the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup is a difficult chore, so I hope this helps you out. Keep in mind that the NBA can be tricky on DFS sites, considering there are many "game-time decisions" and random days off to worry about. Always double-check to ensure all these players are scheduled to play as expected.

Although the Minnesota Timberwolves are ranked No. 1 against defending the PG position, I still implore you to take Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers. Lillard is matchup-proof at home against a young, injury-riddled squad. Portland is favored by 13 points in a game with a 211 over/under, which can only mean good things for its point guard.

PG - Kyle Lowry - Toronto Raptors - $8,500

The Los Angeles Lakers are always a solid team to pick on for fantasy purposes, whether they are home or not. The Toronto Raptors are on fire this season and Kyle Lowry is the unassailable catalyst. Jeremy Lin is terrible on defense and Lowry averages 35.4 fantasy PPG, which means in a cupcake matchup, he should approach 45 without a real struggle especially with DeMar DeRozan out.

SG - Wesley Matthews - Portland Trail Blazers - $6,100

As mentioned, the Timberwolves are a young team dealing with injuries, particularly at each guard as Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin are both out. Whether Wesley Matthews sees more of Corey Brewer defending him or anyone else is irrelevant. He matches up well to blow past his 26 fantasy PPG average with closer to 35, which would exceed value. Overall, he is one of the safest plays on the slate with a high floor.

SG - Lou Williams - Toronto Raptors - $4,900

DeMar DeRozan is out indefinitely and Lou Williams was seeing a ton of minutes in the rotation even prior to this unfortunate development. It is almost impossible to not roster Williams as he has played 26-30 minutes in four straight games -- in which he scored (non-fantasy) 36,17, 22 and 16 points respectively. I could easily see him seeing closer to 35 minutes now and putting up big time stats for his price.

SF - Luol Deng - Miami Heat - $6,500

Luol Deng is a sneaky play most nights, particularly because of his FanDuel mid-tier price. He's averaging just under 25 fantasy PPG, but against the New York Knicks he should make that look like nothing. If Carmelo Anthony plays, we all know he won't be playing any defense. And if Melo doesn't suit up, don't worry; J.R. Smith won't play any either. Deng is clearly one of the safest plays with the most upside on the schedule.

SF - Nicolas Batum - Portland Trail Blazers - $6,500

There is a theme developing here: I think the Portland Trail Blazers are going to have their way with the Minnesota Timberwolves, particularly in the one-through-three spots on the floor. However, I am not incredibly worried about a blowout considering a fair amount of Minnesota's players have plenty to prove. Nicolas Batum should see a lot of Andrew Wiggins and Corey Brewer, which bodes well for his chances of crushing value.

PF - Zach Randolph - Memphis Grizzlies - $7,500

The Sacramento Kings run a bit of a turnstile at PF with Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, Derrick Williams, etc. -- and none of them are particularly great defenders considering the team is ranked 24th against the PF in fantasy. The Memphis Grizzlies are the real deal this season and Zach Randolph is their second biggest scoring threat. His $ 7,500 price tag is a steal.

PF - Amir Johnson - Toronto Raptors - $4,800

Amir Johnson is not going to overwhelm you statistically, but against the Los Angeles Lakers he is almost certain to hit 25 fantasy points and do exactly what you need him to: provide you some salary relief and not be terrible.

C - Jordan Hill - Los Angeles Lakers - $6,500

Jordan Hill has the best matchup by far of any center on this slate as the Toronto Raptors are 29th against the center position and Jonas Valančiūnas scares no one -- particularly on the road. Hill is quietly averaging 28.6 fantasy PPG and has 35-40 potential in this one, which should make his upside worth a shot at $ 6,500; even though you aren't very used to seeing him in your lineup.
