Building the Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup for Dec. 3

Once again it's Big Wednesday in the NBA and this means that there is a ton of money to be won on FanDuel, including their $ 25 Super Slam tournament where $ 30,000 is awarded to first place. There is a 10-game slate for this evening and many different ways to build your roster. However, there is only one way to build the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup and we're about to go over how it's done. With that being said, let's make some money.

Tonight is a night to spend the PG position due to extremely favorable matchups. One of those matchups is Chris Paul facing an Orlando Magic team that's ranked 29th against opposing PGs. Although his price indicates that he'll need to score 49.5 points to reach value and there's a major threat of a blowout, CP3 is still capable of getting over 40-plus points in three quarters of work. If the Magic keep close, Paul will explode for 50-plus.

If anyone thought that Chris Paul had an extremely favorable matchup, then John Wall's is actually better. Sticking to our "Pay Up for PG" strategy tonight, Wall is the second choice and he gets to face the Los Angeles Lakers who rank dead last against opposing PGs. To make the deal even sweeter, "The Great Wall" gets to face them at home where he needs 45 points to justify his price. He will score at least 40 and may flirt with 50 by the end.

Many FanDuel players were burned badly by Green and his underachieving performance against the Philadelphia 76ers. However, the former North Carolina Tar Heel has a really good habit of bouncing back from subpar performances. His chances of redeeming himself grow even greater as he faces a Joe Johnson and the Brooklyn Nets' defense that ranks dead last against SGs. Green is a near lock to score the 24.5 that he needs to justify his price.

As I'm writing this, it appears as if Sweet Lou played more like Bitter Lou last night. However, this shouldn't deter players from playing him tonight against a Utah Jazz team that's been regressing in their effectiveness against SGs. Over their last three to five games, the Jazz have been ranked 23rd against SGs and it's a good spot for Williams to make up for his dud against the Sacramento Kings. He is still underpriced despite one bad outing.

Tonight seems like it may be a redeeming one as Corey Brewer had a forgettable night against the Los Angeles Clippers in his last outing. The Clippers defend SGs very well, so the disappointing performance shouldn't have been a surprise. However, it will be a big surprise if he can't score at least 25 points against a Philadelphia 76ers team that ranks 28th against SGs. Don't forget that Brewer, who is listed as an SF, starts at the SG spot.

(SF) Wesley Johnson - Los Angeles Lakers - $4,400

Wesley Johnson has finally decided to show some signs of life after a sloth-like start to the season. He needs 22 points to justify his low price and he has been able to eclipse that mark in three out of his last five games. A matchup against the Washington Wizards doesn't seem good as they're ranked fourth against SFs. However, Johnson was able to exceed value against a higher-ranked Detroit Pistons team and should be able to make value tonight.

It's usually a good idea to roster Griffin if CP3 is in the lineup as well. It's an even better idea when it's against an Orlando Magic team that seems to be getting worse at defending PFs by the day. Although they're overall rank is 10th, they've been ranked 18th over the last five games and 23rd over the last three. This is a trend to take full advantage of by choosing "The Blake Show" and he should be able to score at least 45 points.

The Chicago Bulls are known for their defense. However, when looking at the numbers, there is a glaring weakness and that is their ability to defend PFs. Believe it or not, but Chicago is ranked 23rd against opposing PFs and this bodes well for Cody Zeller who makes an excellent value play. He is expected to start again tonight and only needs 19 points to reach value. However, he is capable of scoring 30 in this sneaky, yet favorable, matchup.

Without Dwight Howard, the Houston Rockets have no real defensive threat in the paint. This may be the reason why they're currently ranked 27th against opposing centers and won't improve on that until Howard returns. This works out well for this lineup that has $ 8,700 remaining because all of it can used to roster Marc Gasol who has a very juicy matchup. He needs 43.5 to justify his price and he will produce well within that range.
