Why Le’Veon Bell is the Key To Winning Your Fantasy Football League
One of the hottest backs in the fantasy football world right now is RB Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bell is coming off back-to back monster outings. He finished with 232 all-purpose yards (204 rushing/18 receiving) in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans. He then followed that up with another 254 all-purpose yards against the New Orleans Saints last weekend. He has truly emerged as one of the best young fantasy backs in the entire league.
Despite all the success, though, the back has been clearly used and abused this fall. Even quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made a comment earlier this past week about the sophomore back’s over usage this season. However, this just proves how critical he is to the team’s success. The Steelers need to keep winning in order to keep pace in the ultra-competitive NFC North, so fantasy fans can expect Bell to see plenty of touches down the stretch.
Bell luckily faces several soft defenses in the final three weeks of the postseason. Pittsburgh will play the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14, a team that is currently ranked 25th in the league against the run (125.1 yards/game). The next week Bell faces an Atlanta Falcons team that is allowing 118.3 yards per game and he has a potential Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Bell should easily average 100 all-purpose yards throughout the playoff this winter.
Bell will be a must-start each week down the stretch and he can be leaned on heavily this fantasy postseason. Consider him the key to winning your fantasy title this December.
