Sometimes fantasy football players can leave a bad taste in your mouth after a disappointing season. In these cases, the taste is still there for many, and don't you forget it -- don't draft these players again.

Not only was Griffin a disappointing fantasy player this season, but any future with him at this point is unpredictable. His time with a new head coach was volatile to say the least and it appears Griffin will exit next year. How can he fair elsewhere under yet another new coach? Who knows. All I know is I don't want any part of it.

Similar to Griffin, it appears Marshall is in for a new system next season -- but with the same team. His coach is on his way out, and likely his QB Jay Cutler is as well. Marshall isn't getting any younger either, and his injuries may start to become more of a problem down the stretch. His production is dipping and probably won't surface quickly.

Martin will likely improve at some point in his career, but he's been declining in the past two seasons after his stellar rookie campaign. He'll probably find a new team soon, and that's never a good sign when his own team doesn't want to continue their journey with him.

I'd say Rice is a possible selection somewhere down the road, as he'll probably find a good home next season. But even before his suspension, it looked like we've already seen Rice at his peak. Finding a new team could be his remedy, or the completion of his downfall as the preeminent dual-threat RB.

The reign of CJ2K is over. At this point, I'm not even expecting him to be CJ1K. He's lost his spark that once led him to a habit of 1,000-yard performances in Tennessee, and he's not working in a system of run-by-committee, which is never helpful for running backs (at least from a fantasy standpoint).

Look, the team that signed him let him go while still in the middle of his first season on contract. There's something about that which tells me he's not worth investing in.

He's with the Vikings right now, and I question how long that relationship can last. He'll probably be a journeyman with some success here and there, but never worth fully committing to as a fantasy RB.

It's becoming clear that Bush is a health liability. Not only does that mean he won't be available to fantasy players occasionally, but that his team won't be utilizing him to his full potential in order to keep him healthy. We've already seen Joique Bell step up the plate and replace Bush for the most part, and Bush is becoming less efficient as the years go on.

Stacy had his one season in the spotlight. He averaged just five points per game this season and was quickly replaced by a rookie Tre Mason. Stacy may straggle along for the next few seasons, but will never be the elite RB he was once projected to be this season.

2. RB Toby Gerhart

Everything was in place for Gerhart to break out this season. He was in great shape, was working a system that was supposed to fit him, and was finally going to be the No. 1 man on the team. If he wasn't able to make it work this season, I'm not sure I can trust him any other season.

Say goodbye to MJD for good. He's been producing less and less with each passing year and he wasn't able to even produce 100 yards rushing even once this season. He's not the premier back he once was, and he'll be a part of a committee for the rest of his career, and that's not what you're looking for in a running back.
