It was a crazy fantasy football season, especially in IDP formats. Here are the top five IDP MVP candidates from the 2014 fantasy season.

Jackson was uncharacteristically healthy this season, and the result was an All-Pro fantasy performance. He finished the year with 140 tackles to go along with four sacks, one forced fumble and four fumble recoveries. D-Jack was one of the best IDP value picks of the 2014 fantasy season.

Burnett has quietly become the gold standard for fantasy DBs. He has averaged a staggering 8.05 hits over the past four seasons, capped off by a career-high 129 hits in 2014. He wasn’t the best IDP player this season, but he was certainly the top fantasy DB.

Despite all the attention on J.J. Watt, it was Houston that finished the 2014 season leading the league with 22 sacks. He was only 0.5 shy of tying Michael Strahan’s record of 22.5 sacks and it was truly one of the best IDP performances of all-time.

Once again, Kuechly was a tackling machine this season. He led the NFL with 153 hits on the year, including six double-digit tackle performance. He also came up with three sacks and one interception. He continues to be the standard for fantasy linebackers.

Even if your league doesn’t account for his three touchdowns receptions on offense, Watt still filled the box score on a weekly basis. He thrashed opposing quarterbacks all season long and was second in the league with 22 sacks. He also added four FF, five FR, one INT, one safety and two defensive touchdowns. It was a MVP performance for the ages.
