Building The Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup For March 30

It’s Big Wednesday once again in the NBA and there are nine games on the schedule. FanDuel has some great contests going on tonight which include the Mega Slam tournament (someone will walk away with $100,000). If you happen to be in the tournament, then you already realize how critical it is to construct a roster with immense upside. There are many ways to go about doing that and I will show you one of them. Let’s start building the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup for March 30.

(PG) John Wall - Washington Wizards - $9,700

The last time John Wall scored 50-plus fantasy points was on March 21 against the Atlanta Hawks. He has averaged 40.3 since then, but I feel that he will break out for 50-plus against the Sacramento Kings tonight. Despite the Kings playing better defense against PGs lately, the only elite PG they've faced in their last 10 games was Damian Lillard. Wall will be the next elite PG they face and he should score at least 50.

(PG) Raymond Felton - Dallas Mavericks - $5,000

There's a lot to like about Raymond Felton's matchup tonight. It's against the New York Knicks and they're ranked 25th in defensive efficiency against PGs over their last 10 games. He also benefits from Deron Williams not being able to play tonight since he will play more minutes. Additionally, the Mavericks are fighting for a playoff spot, so there's extra motivation. As a result, Felton should score 25-plus against his former team tonight.

(SG) Devin Booker - Phoenix Suns - $7,000

In his last game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Devin Booker scored 17.4 fantasy points in 18 minutes. He's been averaging 37 minutes of court time over his last five games and would have scored 35-plus if he received those minutes in the first matchup. Despite the fact that the Bucks are ranked 11th in defensive efficiency against SGs over their last 10 games, it shouldn't stop Booker from scoring 30-40 fantasy points.

(SG) Tony Allen - Memphis Grizzlies - $4,500

I've written up Tony Allen several times during the season and he has paid off on most nights. His last two games were terrible, but I will cut him some slack since they were against the San Antonio Spurs. He gets a much better matchup against the Denver Nuggets tonight. Denver is ranked 29th in defensive efficiency against SGs over its last 10 games. This bodes well for Allen to score between 25-35.

(SF) Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee Bucks - $9,200

Although he is listed as an SF, Giannis Antetokounmpo is being utilized mostly as a PG these days. This is good news especially since he gets to face the Phoenix Suns tonight. The Suns are ranked 24th against PGs over their last 10 games and 26th against SFs. Therefore, regardless of where the Greek Freak plays, he has a favorable situation. He should score at least 40 fantasy points with a strong chance for 50-plus.

(SF) Matt Barnes - Memphis Grizzlies - $6,200

Based on his production over the last four games, Matt Barnes is somewhat overpriced today. However, I feel that he will be able to make value as he faces the Denver Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets are ranked 27th in defensive efficiency against opposing SFs over their last 10 games. Barnes hasn't scored 30-plus since March 17, but I feel that will change tonight. It wouldn't surprise me if he exploded for 35-plus.

(PF) Gorgui Dieng - Minnesota Timberwolves - $6,400

Gorgui Dieng has been letting people down lately and it may lead to him being owned lower than he should be. He gets to face the Los Angeles Clippers tonight and, as I've been saying for a while, they can't defend PFs well without Blake Griffin. They've given up the most rebounds to PFs over their last 10 games and that plays into a strength of Dieng's. I expect him to bounce back by scoring at least 30 with 35-plus upside.

With the news that Kristaps Porzingis most likely won't play tonight, it means there should be more minutes for Derrick Williams. He may even start. This is a good thing since he will face the Dallas Mavericks tonight and they've struggled against PFs lately. They're ranked 28th in defensive efficiency against them over their last 10 games and it should lead to Williams scoring 25-plus.

(C) Hassan Whiteside - Miami Heat - $8,500

The Miami Heat square off against the disastrous Los Angeles Lakers tonight and it's a great spot for Hassan Whiteside. He has an excellent history against the Lakers and they've struggled to defend centers this season. They've been better in that regard over their last 10 games, but the only center they faced with more upside than Whiteside was DeMarcus Cousins. Therefore, I project at least 40 for him with 50-plus upside.
