Tournament Plays

Tom Savage $10,000

Savage isn’t my favorite QB on the week, but I may have the 2nd most exposure to him. When you combine his price with what he lets you do at other positions, it really makes him intriguing. He threw for 260 yards in half a game against the Jags, who have a decent pass defense. The Bengals do as well, so it won’t come easy, but I think he gets there. He looked for Hopkins a lot, and completed 7 passes to him in just the 2nd half. The Bengals have ranked 17th against the WR1, so we could see a big day out of DeAndre Hopkins as well. I am a fan of Savage in both cash games and tournaments. I will likely split Matt Ryan and Savage in both.

T.Y. Hilton $15,550

Hilton and the Colts take on the Raiders, who have been consistently bad against the pass. They have also ranked 29th against WR1’s, which bodes extremely well for Hilton. Luck loves to target him, and he should be able to reel in those targets this week. We saw Rivers have a pretty nice day against the Raiders, but failed to get in the end zone a few times. Luck looks super good right now and I expect him to roll through the Raiders this week. The Colts are clicking right now on both offense and defense, and they look to be real contenders in such a weak division. I know the Raiders are hyped up to be super great, but I think the Colts roll through them by at least 14 this week. T.Y. Hilton will surely have something to do with it.

Dontrelle Inman $10,550

Inman looks to be Rivers favorite target right now. He has 44 targets in his last 6, and has turned that into 3 TD’s and almost 75 yards per game. The Browns are not the team to slow anyone down, and there is no chance Joe Haden will cover him. He is a smaller slot guy and should line up on the inside more often. Haden will see the likes of Tyrell Williams and Travis Benjamin. Inman will get a bunch more targets this week, and this is the best match up he has seen yet. He is a great play in all formats, and I will have trouble not having almost 100% exposure. I don’t see many paths to failure this week for Inman.
