See ya, Sox: Twins look to secure AL central division

The Minnesota Twins look to further secure their place atop the AL central division tonight in the first of three games against the Cleveland Indians, and that means putting the Chicago White Sox firmly in their rearview mirror. That might get me in a little bit of trouble, but let’s face it – the Minnesota Twins are a bit better than the Chicago White Sox this season, aren’t they? Even without the ailing Justin Morneau, the Twins have been incredibly successful in recent weeks, sweeping their last two opponents (one of them, by the way, was the division-leading Texas Rangers) and breaking records (Jim Thome). Yes, the White Sox did well on the road, but they couldn’t keep it up, falling to the Tigers and dropping to six games back behind the Twins. And they have to deal with Manny...
