Great post on Friday afternoon from Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe. Abraham reveals that since he started managing the Red Sox in 2004, Terry Francona has more regular season wins, more playoff wins, and more World Series titles than any other manager in the game. Granted, Tito has a talented roster, a high payroll, a dedicated ownership group, and a smart GM, but as Abraham points out, so do highly regarded managers like Mike Scoscia, Jim Leyland, Joe Torre, and Tony LaRussa.
