It is an even year and the San Francisco Giants have done it again, winning another World Series championship. They rolled through the postseason and won their third title in five seasons. In the past, they have missed the postseason after winning a championship, but here the five keys to repeating as champions in 2015.

The Giants did the unthinkable by making it all the way through the postseason after winning the second wild card. They not only were able to win a win-or-go-home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but beating two division winners in the process. If they hope to get back in 2015, they would be wise to win the division.

Joe Panik is just 23 years old, but he has the makings to be a star. While he batted .305 in his first 73 regular season games, Panik shined throughout the postseason. Teaming with Brandon Crawford, his defense and bat could help to make the Giants' infield one of the best in all of baseball.

Madison Bumgarner was already one of the top five pitchers in the NL before the World Series, but after his postseason dominance, he looks like the best pitcher in the game. Every time divisional foe Clayton Kershaw takes the hill, he is viewed as unbeatable. Bumgarner has been unbelievable this October and could turn 2015 into something very special.

Although Matt Cain will return from injury, Ryan Vogelsong and Jake Peavy will possibly leave the rotation via free agency, giving the team some openings. Tim Lincecum is signed through 2015 and is best suited to pitch in the rotation every five days. If he can get back to a steady starter, the Giants will be tough to beat.

Pablo Sandoval is one of the biggest clutch performers in postseason history. This year he compiled 26 playoff hits and has been a vital piece to the teams last three championships. The Giants have been great with keeping their own, but his great postseason run may have taken him out of their price range.
