The Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals shocked the baseball world by swapping Jason Heyward and Shelby Miller. This could open the floodgates for a plethora of other big moves in the coming weeks. Here are just five possible moves that would also change the landscape of MLB.

This seems more and more possible after the Chicago Cubs traded for Tommy La Stella, another infielder. They need to start shedding some infielders and they could use their best one to land an ace. Given the fact Castro is signed to such a team-friendly deal, the Cubs would likely seek that the Philadelphia Phillies pay a large portion of Hamels' contract in such a deal.

This has actually already been offered by the Seattle Mariners in the past, but Justin Upton used his trade veto power to block the move. Now, Upton has the Mariners off his no-trade list, and a deal could get done. While the Mariners are going to be more reluctant to part with Walker, who is now major league ready, don't rule it out, as Seattle is desperate for right-handed power.

The New York Yankees need to replace Derek Jeter at shortstop, so why not go after the best one in the league? When Troy Tulowitzki is healthy, he's the best hitter in baseball. Even though it would cost them a lot of money and their top two pitching prospects, the Yankees may decide it's worth it to get their shortstop of the future.

2. Carl Crawford For B.J. Upton

This would be more about money for the Los Angeles Dodgers than anything. Even though they would be taking on B.J. Upton's bad contract, they would be shedding Crawford's. Obviously, the Braves would get a slight upgrade in Crawford and it would give them some left-handed presence in their order.

1. Matt Kemp For Taijuan Walker

As previously mentioned, the Seattle Mariners really want some right-handed power. In this deal, since Kemp is owed so much money, they would expect the Los Angeles Dodgers to pay a lot of his remaining contract. It's not far-fetched to think the Dodgers could do that, because they've stated they're willing to eat a lot of his contract if they get a big return. Getting one of the best pitching prospects in the game would be a huge return.
