This has been one of the most active winter's in the MLB as many teams have reshaped their roster. Although spring training is just around the corner, it does not mean that the moves are done. Here are five trades that could still happen before spring training begins.

Domonic Brown was once an untouchable prospect in Philadelphia and his 2013 season showed why when he made his first All-Star game and slugged 27 home runs. He has impressive power but has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career. At just the age of 27, a change of scenery may be just what he needs to live up to his potential. After losing two outfielders from last year's roster, he would fit nicely into the Orioles' plans.

The Seattle Mariners have made moves already to upgrade their offense, but getting Andre Ethier would make them even better. With Joc Pederson ready to make an impact full-time with the Dodgers, Ethier still could be a piece that is moved.

Remember when Ryan Howard was one of the most feared sluggers in the game? It seems like ancient history. With his massive contract and age, keeping him on the roster is of no benefit to the Phillies. Though they won't get much in return, an AL team could have interest in bringing him over as a power-hitting designated hitter.

The Detroit Tigers have said all along that they are sticking with Joe Nathan to close this season, but that simply cannot happen. Over the course of last season, he showed that he is no longer elite and they need to make a change if they are going to contend. That change may be Addison Russell. While Dave Stewart has made a ton of moves to help upgrade the Diamondbacks, trading Reed could be a move to help the future look even brighter.

Corey Dickerson had an awesome season with the Colorado Rockies last season. While his home and road splits are scary, the 25-year-old could be a major piece that the Orioles could insert into the top of their lineup.

Troy Tulowitzki to the New York Mets has been rumored all winter and it might finally happen. With the Washington Nationals signing of Max Scherzer, they have become the hands down favorites to win the National League East. A trade for Tulowitzki could put the Mets right back in the race.

4. Jonathan Papelbon to Toronto Blue Jays

Jonathan Papelbon is one of the highest paid Phillies and yet he is en route to be one of the least used players. On a team that is destined to be bad, Papelbon brings little value to the Phillies. By moving him to Toronto, the Blue Jays could have a lockdown closer they need, and the Phillies could add a player like Max Pentecost that could play a big role with the team in the future.

Cole Hamles has been one of the hottest names of the winter, but he has yet to be moved. The Red Sox need an ace and have a ton of minor league and outfield depth. The Phillies, on the other hand, need to get younger. Making a move seems perfect for both sides.

2. Johnny Cueto New York Yankees

In years past when either the New York Yankees or the Red Sox made a move, the other one had a counter-move. A trade for Johnny Cueto could be the Yankees' reaction to a Hamels trade to Boston. Cueto is in a contract year and there is no way that the Cincinnati Reds can re-sign him, therefore making this move, they could get value they need in return.

All winter the Chicago Cubs have been on a mission to show that they are ready to contend and making a move for Stephen Strasburg would put them over the top. With a loaded system and plenty of pieces that they could move, this could be Theo Epstien's final piece to make the Cubs contenders.
