Although the non-waiver trade deadline is still quite a ways off, it is never too early to begin thinking about which players might be on the move. Given the uncertainties that still exist in the Detroit Tigers' starting rotation, such as what to expect from Justin Verlander upon his return and the issue of who the real Shane Greene is, here are five arms that GM Dave Dombrowski may want to consider targeting over the summer.

5. Josh Collmenter, Arizona Diamondbacks

Since coming to the big leagues back in 2011, Josh Collmenter has done a nice job for the Arizona Diamondbacks, going 34-31 with a 3.55 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP over 148 games (70 starts). A few rumors regarding his availability began to swirl at the deadline last year, and it will be interesting to see if that is the case once again this season.

4. Aaron Harang, Philadelphia Phillies

After having a resurgent season with the Atlanta Braves last year, Aaron Harang signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Philadelphia Phillies this past January. The 37-year-old has picked up right where he left off, going 4-3 with a 2.03 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP over his first eight starts. With the Phillies looking likely to be sellers, the Tigers would be wise to keep tabs on Harang.

3. Scott Kazmir, Oakland Athletics

Now in his second year with the Oakland Athletics, Scott Kazmir currently owns a 2-1 record with a 2.78 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP. With the A's off to a disappointing start, many have speculated that GM Billy Beane could potentially make Kazmir available if things don't turn around. The southpaw would be a nice fit in the Motor City.

2. Johnny Cueto, Cincinnati Reds

A free-agent-to-be, Cincinnati Reds ace Johnny Cueto may be one of the hottest names on the trading block this summer. The Reds are currently in third place in the NL Central with a record of 18-17, but if they fall any further behind, it would hardly be shocking to see him become available. The question, however, is whether or not the Tigers would have enough talent to spare in a potential Cueto deal.

1. Cole Hamels, Philadelphia Phillies

As the Phillies' most attractive trade piece, there have been many rumors surrounding Cole Hamels over the past several weeks. Like Cueto, the 31-year-old southpaw would cost quite a bit in terms of minor league talent. He also entered the 2015 campaign with four years and $94 million left on his contract. However, he would certainly look good in a Tigers uniform, and he could form an excellent 1-2 punch with David Price.
