This might be one of the most frustrating Boston Red Sox teams to come along in a very long time. Momentum seems to be something that they just can’t get, and it looks almost impossible for them to catch up to any other team in their division.

If there has been any sort of bright spot recently. it is that the offense has looked like it is coming around. Players like Mookie Betts, Brock Holt and David Ortiz have started scoring runs and getting timely hits like they were projected to do before this trainwreck of a season started. If there was ever a time when they need to start firing on all cylinders, it’s now.

For every great game. they’ve look flat for about a week or so. The Red Sox are starting to run out of time, if it isn’t too late already.

It’s getting to the time of the season that Boston will be facing teams in their division, and they better figure out how to beat these teams quickly before it becomes another lost season. I am glad to see the offense finally coming together, but I am thinking it is too late.
