The Baltimore Orioles will be one of the teams looking to improve at the MLB trade deadline this season. GM Dan Duquette expressed the need for outfield help and pitching depth as the Orioles push for the playoffs. Both issues can be addressed at the deadline, and these five players should be on Baltimore's radar.

Leake is having a solid season in Cincinnati, accumulating a 8-5 record with a 3.78 ERA for the Reds. He's emerged victorious in his past three starts, allowing only two runs in 22 innings. While his teammate Johnny Cueto would be the more attractive target, Leake would be a more affordable addition who could help the Orioles reach the postseason. He is an underrated arm available on the trade market this year.

The Orioles expressed interest in acquiring Gomez, who would provide a boost to Baltimore's outfield. He's batting .270 with eight home runs and 42 RBIs in 67 games this season. Gomez is a two-time All-Star with a Gold Glove on his resume. Though it may cost a lot to get him, the Orioles could use a talented player like Gomez in the second half of the season.

The Detroit Tigers recently announced that they'd be willing to deal Cespedes, who's having a good year to this point. He's accumulated a .289 BA with 14 home runs and 54 RBIs this season for Detroit, and would solve the Orioles' problems in left field. Adding Cespedes to Baltimore's formidable lineup would make the offense even more lethal.

The Padres are expected to deal Upton at the trade deadline, and the Orioles should come calling for the talented outfielder. The three-time All-Star is batting .252 with 15 home runs, 49 RBIs and 17 steals for San Diego this season. Upton would fit perfectly as the No. 2 hitter in Baltimore's lineup and would give the Orioles better offensive production down the stretch.

With injury concerns surrounding Johnny Cueto and Cole Hamels, David Price is now the best available starting pitcher on the market. The five-time All-Star and former Cy-Young award winner is excelling for the Detroit Tigers this season, with a 9-3 record and a 2.32 ERA in 2015. He has experience pitching in both the AL East and the postseason. Price is the type of impact player who can turn a team from a contender into a champion.
