As we approach the final month of the MLB season, the Baltimore Orioles are on the verge of collapsing. By losing nine out of the last 10 games, Baltimore is under .500 at 63-67 and is 5.5 GB of the second wild card spot. In order to turn things around, the Orioles need a spark from some September call-ups when the rosters expand to 40 players. Here are five players who could provide a boost for Baltimore down the stretch.

Walker made his major league debut last season just two years after being taken in the fourth round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He's batting .256 with 16 HR, 31 2B and 70 RBI with AAA-Norfolk this season. The Orioles should promote him and assess his potential, considering that Chris Davis and Steve Pearce will both become free agents after this season.

Baltimore traded with the Chicago Cubs for Lake prior to the MLB trade deadline in July. While the 25-year-old is talented and possesses a plethora of tools, he's clearly a work in progress. He batted just .143 in 14 ABs with the Orioles this season, but he'll get a chance to see more action when rosters expand in September. Baltimore would love to see him put it all together down the stretch and make an impact, though it appears unlikely.

Wilson should be called up in September to provide a boost in Baltimore's bullpen. He started two games for the Orioles this season, accumulating a 2.19 ERA and 1.18 WHIP to go along with a 2-1 record. Wilson was incredibly effective during a spot start against the Oakland Athletics this year. He's currently day-to-day with an oblique strain, but should be ready for action in the final month of the season.

Urrutia was a feel-good story for the Orioles when he hit his first major league home run -- a walk-off -- against the New York Mets on Aug. 19. The Cuban defect has endured many obstacles to get to this point, including learning a new language and a new position. In September, Urrutia will return to Baltimore, where he batted .265 in 34 ABs with the Orioles this season.

The Orioles could use another arm at the back end of the bullpen, and that's where Wright might find himself during the final month of the season. He's dominated in AAA-Norfolk this year with a 8-1 record, 2.40 ERA and 1.08 WHIP. Wright started six games earlier in the season for Baltimore, going 2-3 with a 4.99 ERA. His stuff is better suited for the bullpen at this point in his career, but a return to the rotation isn't out of the question.
