Chicago White Sox fans need something to be happy about after a very disappointing season. All of their free agent signings fell way under expectations. Being 10 games under .500 meant the team was allowed to showcase some of its prospects who could be on the team next year. Here are the five best in the organization.

Trey Michalczewski may be a controversial choice here, but he was picked over Courtney Hawkins due to injury concerns. Michalczewski doesn't do anything spectacularly, but he is consistent across the board. He can hit for decent average and power. He could steal between five and 10 bases in the majors. He may not be ready to take over the hot corner next season, but he is one to keep an eye on.

4. Carson Fulmer

Carson Fulmer looks like he is going to be a very good pitcher for the future of the organization. He is currently on a major innings limit, so he hasn't been able to show his true potential just yet. He's a power pitcher who could be in the mold of Jeff Samardzija when he's at his best.

3. Micah Johnson

Micah Johnson was given his chance to prove himself on the big league squad. He was given the second base job, but lost it due to his play. That will just motivate him more as the season moves on. He can be a .330 hitter with good speed in the future.

2. Trayce Thompson

The brother of Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, Trayce is looking to keep up with the family legacy. He was given a chance last season based on his defense, but he showed he can hit at a major league level as well. With part of a major league year under his belt, he could be ready to be a real contributor to this team. He could be a .300 hitter with some power.

There is no doubt who the best prospect in the organization is. Tim Anderson could be a top 10 shortstop in the majors next year. He is quick as a hiccup and has above average hitting ability. He could regulate Alexei Ramirez to the bench by April.
