Sanchez is undoubtedly one of Toronto's most talented pitchers, but heading into opening day there's still no certainty about how he'll be used. He'll start the season in the starting rotation, but may be forced to move to the bullpen at some point. Eventually, the Blue Jays have to make a decision about Sanchez one way or another.

We all know Troy Tulowitzki is injury prone, which could be an issue for the Blue Jays, but several of Toronto's key players are at an age when injuries could pop up. There's no true leadoff hitter in Toronto's lineup, which is an issue the Blue Jays will have to sort out. Tulowitzki spent some time there last year, but he really needs to be hitting in a spot where he can drive in runs. Ryan Goins, Kevin Pillar and Michael Saunders could be options, but not ideal options, as could youngster Dalton Pompey later in the season.

What Donaldson did last year was far and away better than any previous season in his career, so one has to question whether he's capable of repeating that much production. The Blue Jays have no shortage of quality hitters in their lineup, but they are relying on Donaldson to put together another MVP caliber season.

Stroman certainly looked the part of an ace last season, but it's important to remember that he's only 24 and has just 30 big league appearances under his belt. He has great stuff, but Stroman still has to prove that he can be a major league ace over the course of a full season. His ability to do that will have a huge impact on Toronto's season.
