Bird Shows No Respect for Diamondbacks' Paul Goldschmidt Fielding Bunt

Nature doesn’t care about your silly baseball game, and Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt can attest to that firsthand after getting some interference from a bird on Tuesday night.

After a popped up bunt needed to be fielded up the first base line, a stubborn bird just stayed put as Goldy reached for the ball and proceeded to throw to second base.

From squirrels running around the field to cats invading the ballpark, MLB has seen its fair share of animal sabotage this season.

Thankfully, none of these critters were harmed and the ballgames went on as scheduled after their departures.
