Chris Holdsworth vs. David Grant are set to do battle this weekend for TUF 18 season finale. Both fighters are fighting for a UFC contract and the right to be called the best male bantamweight on the show. It’s going to be a great fight as both fighters will be fighting with a sense of desperation.

Coming into this bout, Holdsworth sports an undefeated record of 5-0. He has looked impressive on the show, and he’s one fight away from earning a contract with the UFC. He is an excellent grappler with competent jiu-jitsu skills. He’s finished a lot of his opponents off by way of submission, and he will be looking to do the same against Grant.

Holdsworth trains with a great camp, Team Alpha Male, alongside fighters such as Urijah Faber, Chad Mendes and Joseph Benavidez. The training has allowed him to become a complete fighter, and it’s going to be interesting to see if he can keep Team Alpha Male’s winning record alive.

Grant comes into this bout the underdog, and he will be looking to earn the biggest win yet in his fighting career. On paper, Grant has a great shot in this bout as he has a lot of heart and has demonstrated some great striking techniques. His best path to victory is to keep this fight standing and outpointing Holdsworth for the majority of the fight. Holdsworth has shown to be hittable, so Grant will need to take advantage of his reach and crisp boxing.

It should be a great finale for the men’s bantamweight division, and the winner will finally get the chance to compete in the UFC.
