Name: Brandon Triche

Brandon Triche is your all-around college basketball contributor. A four year player at Syracuse, Triche found multiple ways to help this program over the past few seasons. His senior year ended in the Final Four, while he averaged a career high 13.6 points, 3.6 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game this past season. Triche has good size, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 210 lbs. and he’s the type of guard that will find himself on the fence heading into draft night.

Triche could potentially find a team that is interested in him late in the second round, but it’s tough to judge. He’s more of a combo guard and although he’s capable of playing the point, most of that duty was relinquished this past season to sophomore Michael Carter-Williams, who’s projected as a lottery pick here in 2013.

Strengths: Triche has good size at 6-foot-4 and he became more assertive and aggressive this past season. Triche can put the ball on the deck and penetrate the lane, but at the same time he’s not afraid to spot up and knock down the three ball.

Weaknesses: Triche doesn’t have the greatest of quickness and he could struggle against more athletic guards at the NBA level. While he had a solid year on the offensive end this past season, he’s never been an overly dominate threat on that end of the floor. Triche is fresh off a career year, but it remains to be seen if he can carry that recent success into the professional ranks.

Draft Projection: Undrafted
