Bobcats vs. Bulls Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Lines

Derrick Rose

Dennis Wierzbicki – USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bulls face off against the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at the United Center, and the hometown team is favored by (-12) which lets you know what the Vegas oddsmakers think about the ‘Cats. The Bulls have looked impressive of late, and especially Derrick Rose who now appears to have a legitimately good three point jump shot. This will add a lot of different elements to his game when he can pump-fake that three and then burn his man at the rim.

Here is the TV info for this one which tips off at 8:00 PM EST.

TV: SportSouth, CSN-Chicago, DTV: 650, 665, 753, 754.

Look for the Bulls to win this one, but I might hesitate on taking the over just because it is so high. Taj Gibson likes what he is seeing out of his team’s work habits though and these are the lowly Bobcats we are talking about who were recently beaten down by LeBron James and company.

“Guys have a good rhythm. Everybody has been putting in extra work after practice, late at night. It’s shown. I’m happy with our progress,” Gibson said to the AP. “We’re just focused on getting better. It’s early in the season. We understand we’ve got a long way to go.”

The Bulls have built some momentum coming off a resounding win over the Pacers, which showed they mean serious business in the Eastern conference.

Sidenote apology: to my readers who picked the Pacers in that one, in my defense they were undefeated at the time.

Thanks for reading folks, and will keep this schedule/preview/betting line articles coming in the next few weeks.

President Obama's Got Jokes About Warriors, 1995-96 Bulls

The Golden State Warriors recently visited the White House to be acknowledged for their 2014-15 NBA championship. As you may know, President Obama is a huge fan of basketball, and especially his beloved Chicago Bulls. While introducing the team, President Obama joked that he was in the presence of one member of the greatest team in basketball history with Steve Kerr on stage. The Warriors head coach was a member of the 1995-96 Bulls team that many think of as the greatest team of all time.

Pau Gasol Puts "Shake and Bake" On Kobe Bryant

The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls squared off on Thursday night, so naturally all eyes were on former teammates Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. The two had a nice embrace prior to opening whistle, but it was strictly business once the game got started. Don't believe me? Just check out this "Shake and Bake" executed to perfection by Gasol.

Bulls' Noah Comes Nowhere Close To Making Jumper

Joakim Noah is a tremendous hustler and a gritty basketball player who does all the dirty work. That being said, this jump shot was terrible. This was the worst attempt that I've ever seen in my life and I don't expect that Noah will be shooting any more than layups for a good while.
