New Orleans Pelicans vs. New York Knicks Sunday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Lines

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Pelicans are favored on the road (-1) in this one against the New York Knicks that tips off at 7:30 PM EST.

Cannot trust the Knicks in this one in my humble opinion, because they have looked borderline awful out there defensively ever since Tyson Chandler’s injury.

Here is the TV info for that one in case you just wanted to use this sailor and lose him.

TV: FS-New Orleans, MSG, DTV: 634, 678, 761, 762

For those of you still with me, just know that Carmelo Anthony is a brilliant offensive player, but his abilities defensively are limited to say the least. He needs someone backing him up, and the star forward is missing that right now. Until they get their defensive backbone back, then will really struggle to believe in this squad to make the playoffs or even to keep their dignity out there. That seems to be slipping away faster than a turd down a Crisco-glazed whale’s back.

This just might be a recipe for ‘Melo to leave town if you ask me, but that seems to be the monkey in the room nobody in New York wants to talk about. Sorry to bring up uncomfortable issues folks, but that is just my job and just trying to do it to the best of my ability.

One more basketball preview today, and then if you are still bored at work be sure to check out my Rant Sports Prep content.

Ryan Anderson Throws Down Savage Dunk On Kobe Bryant

Although Kobe would get the last laugh with the win, his second great performance and the Lakers notched back-to-back wins for just the second time this season, that doesn't stop this Ryan Anderson dunk from being any less disrespectful. The Mamba is in a retirement year, man, let him go out with his dignity still in tact.

Watch Marcus Smart's Epic Flop

Carmelo Anthony had a mismatch on Marcus Smart in the post, but Smart's flop was still a maneuver that went comically too far in an attempt to draw an offensive foul.
