Indiana Pacers vs. Utah Jazz Wednesday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers tip off against the Utah Jazz tonight at 9 PM EST, and unfortunately will not be catching this one due to limited TV coverage.

The Pacers are obviously favored (-8), and the Jazz are obviously tanking. Can we move on from this one? It was a slow day for good basketball, and it is almost like they schedule all the good games for Thursdays and weekends don’t you think?

Here is the TV info on that one, in case you are interested.

TV: FS-Indiana, ROOT-Rocky Mountain, DTV: 673,684,761,762

Paul George has impressed me in the early season so that is partly why like the Pacers in this one, but having a defensive behemoth like Roy Hibbert guarding the paint also has an effect on my point of view. The Jazz will try to hang in there, but the Pacers have only lost one game all year and expect them to cover the spread despite being on the road.

Gordon Hayward’s year to year improvement has impressed me, but not quite impressed enough with the Jazz’s roster to feel comfortable taking them to cover the spread against an elite team like the Pacers. Maybe one day though if the tanking this year pays off for the mountain west team, but that is a topic for another day.

That is all for the previews today but stop by Rant Sports Prep to check out that content or hit me up on twitter.
