The 2014-15 season is bound to be a trying one for the Philadelphia 76ers. With another rebuilding year on the horizon, here is a preview of the 2014-15 Philadelphia 76ers.

This past offseason, the Philadelphia 76ers traded their most tenured player in Thaddeus Young. In a three-team trade headlined by Kevin Love going to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Thaddeus Young was shipped up to Minnesota. The 76ers also lost shooting guard James Anderson, who averaged just above 10 points per game last season; as well as Byron Mullens, a big man who was brought over at the trade deadline.

The biggest offseason addition was Joel Embiid, a rookie center out of Kansas. However, he isn't the only new face in town. In the three-team trade that sent Thaddeus Young to the Timberwolves, the 76ers received Luc Mbah a Moute, a veteran forward from the Cameroon; as well as Alexey Shved, a young shooting guard from Russia. K.J. McDaniels and Jerami Grant will also see some playing time in 2014-15. Both were second-round picks this past year.

The starting five for the Philadelphia 76ers will change as soon as the NBA’s reigning Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams returns from offseason shoulder surgery. But before he returns, the 76ers will likely feature Tony Wroten and Hollis Thompson in the starting backcourt. The frontcourt will also lack experience, as Nerlens Noel will likely start at power forward, alongside small forward Elliot Williams and center Henry Sims.

Much like 2013-14, the bench rotation for this year’s 76ers will end up be a revolving door of talent. To begin the year, Alexey Shved and Casper Ware will be the only guards in the rotation, while forwards K.J. McDaniels, Luc Mbah a Moute, Jakarr Sampson, Arnett Moultrie and Brandon Davies will round out the rest of the rotation.

Last year, the 76ers finished the year 19-63. For the first half of the season, the 76ers' roster actually featured some talent, which led to a 3-0 start. But, once everyone was traded away and the roster looked like it does now, the team suffered through an NBA record 22-game losing streak. This year will be more like the second-half of last season, leading to the 76ers finishing 2014-15 with a record of 15-67.
