Trades are a part of life for players in the NBA, even the stars. Perhaps especially the stars. Ask Rajon Rondo. With that in mind, here are 10 NBA stars who could be traded before this year's deadline, ordered by star power plus likelihood they'll be dealt. The more star power and likelihood they'll be traded, the higher on this list they'll appear. Let's start at number 10.

With the Celtics having already dealt their best player, Rajon Rondo, Green may find himself next to go to another NBA team. Physically talented with tremendous basketball skill, Green has yet to consistently deliver on the promise of his high NBA draft position, but could add depth to a contender's bench or provide roughly average production from the forward position in a starting lineup.

Wilson Chandler was brought to Denver from New York as part of the Carmelo Anthony swap, and is likely playing his final games as a Nugget this season. The Oklahoma City Thunder are thought to be quite interested, and even after their completed trade for Dion Waiters, likely have enough assets to get a deal done.

8. David Lee

After returning from a hamstring injury too soon, David Lee became expendable when the Warriors got off to an incredibly hot start while Lee was sidelined. His absence allowed Draymond Green and Marreese Speights more minutes and both have performed exceptionally. Now back in the lineup and no longer restrained by a minutes limit, Lee could be used in a deal for the Warriors to add depth elsewhere.

7. Lance Stephenson

While the Hornets claim Stephenson is no longer on the trading block after the team became eligible to trade him following the mandatory time required elapsed after he signed his contract, it smells more like a negotiating ploy to allow Lance time to regain some value. If he can improve his play, expect to see him on the move.

The Phoenix Suns surprised the NBA for all the right reasons last season, but have been a surprise for all the wrong reasons this season. Much of the blame has fallen on the shoulders of Goran Dragic, who has seen his offensive productive decline from last season. Dragic can enter unrestricted free agency this summer, meaning he's the likeliest of the Suns' trio of guards, including Isiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe, to be traded.

A skilled big man with an array of post moves, Brook Lopez may be the most enticing player the Nets can offer via trade. There have been ample talks between the Nets and Thunder, but nothing has come to fruition to this point.

4. Deron Williams

Deron Williams may not be near the player he was with the Utah Jazz, but he can still be at least a league average point guard, and perhaps more if the expectation he lead a franchise to success isn't present. Injuries and confidence have been an issue, but there is enough talent here to interest at least a few clubs. The Sacramento Kings have been heavily rumored to be interested.

3. Brandon Jennings

While the Detroit Pistons are 6-0 since they waived beleaguered forward Josh Smith, there are still ample indications they're not pleased with their roster (they being President of Basketball Operations Stan Van Gundy). Jennings isn't great on defense and doesn't have great shot selection. Look for him to be dealt for a steadier hand in the Piston backcourt.

2. Steve Nash

Though his playing days are almost certainly behind him, the two-time MVP is under contract through this season and would be quite an asset for a team looking to make a run in free agency at the end of this year, as Nash's expiring contract would free considerable cap space. If a team were willing to include a draft pick as well, it's likely the Lakers would pull the trigger on a deal to ensure they select in the 2015 draft.

While the Knicks encourage Anthony to rest his ailing knee, the time is now for the Knicks to move Carmelo. He's shown signs of decline this season, his fit in the triangle thus far has been questionable at best, and his contract isn't getting any smaller. Because of his history in New York, and track record as a coach, Phil Jackson should have all the time he needs to build a winner in New York. Starting from scratch may be the best option.
