The Denver Nuggets aren’t exactly taking the NBA by storm this season. When a team is struggling, the best thing a team can do is fire the head coach, right? Well, that is the route the Nuggets are taking.

Denver is clearly in rebuilding mode right now. We all saw that with the players it traded away on the last day of the trade deadline. That isn’t exactly the worst thing in the world, and it appears this organization wants to completely start over from scratch. A 20-39 record tends to lead to that.

Not to mention, the Nuggets are one of the worst teams in their division, and aren’t even close to being a playoff team.

Needless to say, Brian Shaw and his players weren’t on the same page. Record aside, when a coach and his players are not on the same page, that usually spells doom for the coach.

It seems like the firing of George Karl is coming back to haunt the Nuggets a bit. Karl clearly was a great coach, and by the looks of his record as a head coach with the team, he seemed to be a good fit with Denver.

Well, it didn’t necessarily work out with Karl and it definitely did not work out with Shaw. Now, the Nuggets can enjoy the process of trying to find a new head coach.

Grizzlies' Chalmers Takes Cheap Shot At Nurkic

Since arriving in the NBA as a rookie out of Kansas, Mario Chalmers has had a tough road to climb as he's never really gotten a true opportunity to be the top guy. Now with Memphis, he's had an opportunity to start a few games with Mike Conley battling a back injury, but he shows in this video that he's still too immature to take advantage.
