The man behind the vibrant collection of menswear is also a warrior. Craig Sager will return on March 5 to resume his duties as both talented TNT sideline reporter and vibrant textile bouquet. Diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia just before the 2014 NBA Playoffs, the colorful commentator engaged the invasive disease and battled his way to full remission in just a handful of months.

Eradicating leukemia seemed seamless for Sager while he was out of the spotlight, but it’s under said spotlight where he truly thrives.

The NBA is accelerating into the playoffs and into another swell of popularity, and the return of their most unique pundit will enhance the experience of it all. Not only will Sager make his triumphant return to the NBA, but according to his son, Craig Sager Jr., he’ll also be covering the NCAA tournament. It’s hard to stop someone so driven.

Craig Sager is quoted saying “leukemia picked the wrong person to fool with.” This is a statement that’s backed by gold; as the man wears fabric that defies the visible spectrum, he’s also a man who has defied terminal cancer. Good for Craig Sager, good for humanity, and good for the NBA.

Here’s to many more years of Sagervision.
