Just one season into Jason Kidd’s tenure as head coach, the Milwaukee Bucks have already made monumental strides. They went from a team no one noticed to a franchise that made headlines on a daily basis. There are however, a few key areas that need to be addressed in order for them to take it to the next level. Here are five easy ways they can drastically improve their chances this offseason.

5. Bring Back Khris Middleton

Match any offer made to Khris Middleton. This should be their top priority, as the athletic swingman was a key part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ success this past season, averaging 13.4 points and 4.4 rebounds. He’s a spark plug for the young roster and serves as an image of consistency for a team that sorely needs an anchor. If he is locked up, the Bucks backcourt is essentially complete.

4. Get Rid of O.J. Mayo

The signing had potential to be boom-or-bust from the get-go, but it’s never really panned out for the Bucks. A slew of injuries have hindered his progress, but the shooting guard just never clicked in the Bucks offense, even when he was healthy. He’s in the final year of a three-year deal, and his $8 million price tag could certainly be a draw for a team that wants an expiring contract.

3. Establish an Offensive Gameplan

While Jason Kidd far exceeded expectations in his first season with the Bucks, an established offensive scheme is still lacking. The athleticism and length can only take you so far, which is clear when you consider the team’s 97.8 points-per-game average, good for 22nd in the league. The team showed glimpses of brilliance late in the season, so harnessing that mentality will be key.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker, Damien Inglis and now Rashad Vaughn; there is certainly no shortage of youngsters on the roster. The only problem is giving them all time to shine. While the first two have established themselves as valuable assets and will get their minutes, Inglis and Vaughn will have to fight for their chance.

1. Signing A Big Man Is A Must

The Larry Sanders project is over, and its time for the Bucks to bring in an established talent down low. The free agent market has a number of solid options, and the Bucks’ management needs to pull the trigger. They have the flexibility to spend some money, and a player like Tyson Chandler or Greg Monroe could fill a huge void. It's about time the Bucks make a big move.
