Feigin stated that should public funding not be approved for a new arena, the NBA could purchase and move the team. Right now the future of the Bucks remains unclear, but should they leave Milwaukee, here are the five best cities that they could relocate to. 5. Baltimore, Md. Getty Images 5. Baltimore, Md. Getty Images Baltimore may be one of the hardest cities on this list for them to relocate to, but should the Bucks and the NBA be able to do so, it would be great for everyone involved. One of the best cities for basketball in all of America, Baltimore has been without an NBA team since the Wizards left for Washington D.C. in the 1970s. Of course many may not like the idea of having two teams so close together, but it could make for a great on-court rivalry. 4. Kansas City, Mo. Getty Images Advertisement 4. Kansas City, Mo. Getty Images Home of the Kings from 1972-85, Kansas City possesses a very loyal fanbase. Unlike many other cities that would look to become the new home of the Bucks, Kansas City already has an NBA-ready arena built in the Sprint Center. In fact, the Sprint Center has previously been the host for NBA preseason games as well as the Men’s NCAA Tournament. If the Bucks and the NBA were looking for a quick move, Kansas City could be a logical choice. 3. Louisville, Ky. Getty Images 3. Louisville, Ky. Getty Images Already supportive of the Louisville Cardinals men’s and women’s basketball teams, the city of Louisville could go from a college basketball city to a professional basketball city overnight should the Bucks relocate there. Like Kansas City, the city of Louisville has an existing arena in the KFC Yum! Center that the Bucks could move right into. They also have an existing fanbase that would come out to support this team on a nightly basis. 2. Las Vegas, Nev. Getty Images 2. Las Vegas, Nev. Getty Images The NBA experimented with basketball in Las Vegas back in 2007 when they allowed the city to host their annual All-Star game. Unfortunately for the city, nothing ever came of this. With the NHL now exploring the city as a possible home for one of its newest franchises, the time may not be any better for the NBA to do the same. 1. Seattle, Wash. Getty Images 1. Seattle, Wash. Getty Images Anytime NBA relocation is discussed, Seattle is the first city that gets mentioned – and rightfully so. In 2008, the then SuperSonics left Seattle for Oklahoma City, leaving one of the most passionate fanbases in the NBA without a team. The major hurdle standing in the way of Seattle getting another team is of course a new, up-to-date arena, but should they be able to get that, Seattle would be the best choice to host a team like the Bucks.
