The Phoenix Suns' 2015 starting five will have three new starters in 2015. Eric Bledsoe and Markieff Morris will be counted on to lead three new faces to the starting lineup in 2015. The Suns hope this new starting five will lead them to the playoffs after missing out for five straight years.

The Suns have poured $ 140 million into the backcourt, with each guy getting $ 70 million. Eric Bledsoe has been and will continue to be the designated starting PG, and Brandon Knight will be the SG. Bledsoe has supreme athleticism and strength. He can have games where he looks like Russell Westbrook, and then have games where he doesn't look like a PG at all. He needs to find some consistency moving forward.

Brandon Knight will be the SG, but they may end up being just designations in Phoenix this year. In actual positions, the situation will be quite fluid depending on the matchup. Knight has more size and better numbers from three-point range, making him the SG. However, he might be the better leader and better decision maker between the two.

Three Suns are locked into starting spots. However, the forward spots are tenuous. The only surprise on the list is T.J. Warren, who is putting up big numbers in the Summer League. It is the Summer League, but his skill set is something the Suns need in their starting lineup. He needs no plays called for him and scores in a variety of different ways.

Markieff Morris is the starter if he's still on the team come November. I’m still not convinced that Suns are happy with him, and his name pops up in several trade rumors. While he was on the court, Morris was productive and surprisingly clutch in the fourth quarter. Morris needs an attitude adjustment, but if that happens, he could be a productive PF for the Suns.

The newest member of the Suns is center Tyson Chandler. He will anchor a team that desperately needs veteran leadership and a defensive presence. The Suns hope that he can provide both. His signing has raised some eyebrows and some have questioned the move, but this is a quality addition that will provide something the Suns haven’t had in decades.
