According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Los Angeles Lakers are making an attempt to clear massive cap space in order to land both LeBron James and Paul George before the 2018-19 season.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Lakers freed up $18 million in cap space when they traded D’Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov‘s bloated contract to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez.
Not everyone thinks acquiring LeBron and PG by next summer makes an abundance of sense.
