The Tennessee Volunteers may have missed out of the 2013 NCAA Tournament, but Jordan McRae was still great in his junior season. However, look for him to have an even bigger year in the 2013-14 college basketball season.

McRae averaged 15.7 points per game, 4.1 rebounds per game and two assists per game this past season. He also shot 42.3 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from behind the arc.

There will be some good players returning in the SEC, but McRae will definitely be one of the best. It helps that his Tennessee Volunteers will likely compete for an SEC title. With that said, the Florida Gators are bringing back a lot of talent and the Kentucky Wildcats could be ranked No. 1 in the nation to start the season.

Still, that will not stop McRae from being a beast.

McRae received a decent amount of playing time in his sophomore year, but nowhere close to the time that he was on the court this past season. He jumped from 8.6 points per game to 15.7 points per game and he almost made twice as many threes.

He will once again be the go-to guy for this team, but he has the talent to score more points and help lead his team on a deep run in the NCAA tournament. I am sure the Volunteers would just like to focus on making it, though, since they have been left out the last couple of years.

McRae has the talent to be one of the best players in the country next year and you better believe that he will have a big senior season.
