Replacing Kelly Olynyk will be very hard since he was considered one of the best players in the country, but some talented transfers will be joining the team in the 2013-14 college basketball season. They could help ease the pain of Olynyk no longer being on the team (among others).
The two transfers I speak of are Angel Nunez and Gerard Coleman. Nunez was previously on the Louisville Cardinals and Coleman is coming from Providence. Gaining two former Big East players is always a huge boost to any team and that should be the case for the Bulldogs.

Coleman averaged 13.2 points per game, five rebounds per game and 2.1 assists per game in the 2011-12 season.
Nunez won’t be able to play to start the season, but he will eventually be able to take the court in the 2013-14 season. He stands at 6’8” and should be a good addition to the frontcourt.
Gonzaga returns a couple of great guards who will help make up a very talented backcourt. Coleman will add to the talented guard play and he should contribute for the team right away.
It will be interesting to see of Gonzaga can repeat its success from last season. That would be a tough feat since the team did earn a No. 1 seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and had 32 wins on the year. The Bulldogs did not go far in the tourney, but they did get beat by a very good Wichita State team that ended up making it all the way to the Final Four.
Whether the case, Coleman and Nunez could ease the pain of key player losses in the upcoming season.
