The Kansas State Wildcats have become an NCAA Tournament regular under the guidance of coach Bruce Weber. Coming off a 2013-14 season that saw the Wildcats make their fifth straight appearance in the Big Dance, more of the same will be expected in 2014-15. Here are five can’t-miss games for the Wildcats as they try to make their sixth-straight trip to the NCAAs.

Kansas State faces a rigorous non-conference schedule, with an appearance at the Maui Invitational to go along with their road-date against the Volunteers as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. With Tennessee coming off a 24-win season and a trip to the NCAAs in 2014, fans at Thompson-Boling Arena should see an entertaining clash.

Kansas State gets another shot at the SEC when they take on the Aggies in the Wildcat Classic in Kansas City. Texas A&M will be in search of quality wins after going 18-16 last season while the Wildcats hope to make a strong push against their final major-conference, non-league foe of the new season. Add it all up and it makes for an intriguing matchup when the two meet on Dec. 20.

The intensity always ramps up when the Jayhawks and Wildcats get together. Their end of January meeting at Allen Fieldhouse will renew one of the Big 12’s most-heated rivalries while setting the stage for their second meeting later in the season.

If Kansas State can bring their A-game to their meeting with Texas, it will serve to bolster the team’s hopes for a sixth-straight NCAA Tournament invite.
