The Oklahoma State Cowboys seem to be doing everything in their power to miss out on this year's Big Dance. On a four-game losing streak or not, the Cowboys will end up making the 2015 NCAA tournament. However, they would be doing themselves a huge favor by winning their last two games of the regular season.

Regardless, let's get to those five reasons why they will be dancing.

The Big 12 is running deep this year. After all, seven out of the 10 teams in this conference all have a chance to make the tournament. With that said, this is the deepest conference in the nation.

It would be a shame if Oklahoma State stars Phil Forte III and Le’Bryan Nash weren't part of the tourney. Just for the record, they are both averaging right around 16 points per game. This scoring duo will be must-watch TV in the dance -- well, if the Cowboys do in fact make the dance (they better).

3. Solid Non-Conference Record

A 10-2 non-conference record ain't bad, folks. Although those 10 wins weren't against a bunch of Dukes and Kentuckys, some of them were against tough competition.

Big 12 locks: Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, West Virginia, Oklahoma.

The only team the Cowboys have not beaten out of those teams is Iowa State ... and Oklahoma. Okay, they also haven't knocked off West Virginia.

Oklahoma State has beaten Kansas, though, which is the ultimate feat in the Big 12. They also beat Texas (twice).

Wins against Kansas, Baylor (twice), Texas (twice), Tulsa and Memphis look pretty solid on the resume. Those wins alone could get the Cowboys into the dance. However, finishing strong in their final two games will be key. A run in the Big 12 tournament would also be a plus.
