The N.C. State Wolfpack played one of the most grueling schedules in the country in 2014-15. They ended the year hot, winning six of their last seven games before falling in the ACC Tournament to the Duke Blue Devils.

After missing out on the NCAA Tournament for five-straight years, N.C. State has now made an appearance in all four of Mark Gottfried’s seasons as head coach, beginning in 2011-12. The Wolfpack were the biggest surprise team called on Selection Sunday in 2014. They defeated Xavier in one of the “first four” games as a No. 12 seed before being knocked out in overtime by No. 5 seed St. Louis.
