There is a reason why fans don't have to pick the play-in game as part of most bracket challenges: Most play-in games can be decided by a coin-flip. There's also that fact that play-in games feature lower seeds that are supposed to lose in the round of 64.

That aside, let's tackle some bold predictions for BYU vs. Ole Miss.

Okay, so this may be a little extreme, but it would certainly be a great watch before the round of 64 starts.

BYU is averaging 83.6 PPG, so you know the Cougars are going to want to score. Ole Miss comes in at 72.6 PPG. In hopes of a shootout, I am predicting the first team to 90 to come away with the victory.

If this game is actually going to be a high-scoring affair, you better believe both teams will have a run or two or three or four.

Basically, Tyler Haws & Co. will score 10 unanswered points, and then Jarvis Summer and the Rebels will have a similar run (over and over again).

Summers is the second leading scoring on Ole Miss (12.4 PPG). However, the senior is probably hungry for a deep run in the dance, which will lead to him going all out in this one.

As for Haws, he is leading the Cougars at 21.9 points per contest, and is easily one of the best scorers in the tournament.

Haws is clearly a big part of his team's offense, and that will be the case once again vs. the Rebels. The scoring machine hasn't cracked the 20-point mark in back-to-back games, but he will in this one, even if he has to shoot the ball more than 20 times.

Why, you ask? I just simply like how the Cougars finished their season. BYU won eight in a row, which included a victory over Gonzaga, before losing to the Bulldogs in the WCC tournament championship.

Ole Miss, on the other hand, has lost four of five.
